About Andrea
Walking Hand in Hand Through Growth, Healing, and Change
For more than two decades, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals, students, clinicians, and organizations through some of life's most meaningful and challenging moments.
My career has taken me through community mental health, child welfare, medical social work, higher education, clinical supervision, and private practice. While each role has been different, one thing has remained the same—I believe lasting growth happens through connection, collaboration, and compassionate support.
Whether I'm sitting with a therapy client, mentoring an emerging clinician, or partnering with a school or organization, my goal is never to have all the answers. Instead, I strive to create a space where people feel respected, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
My Philosophy
-
Everyone has the potential to grow, heal, and create meaningful change.
-
People deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
-
Healing is a journey, and no one should have to walk it alone
-
The most meaningful change happens through collaboration—not control.
-
Every person's culture, identity, and lived experience deserves to be honored.
Why Hand in Hand
The name Hand in Hand reflects the way I approach every relationship—with clients, supervisees, students, and organizations alike.
I don't believe in telling people what their path should look like.
Instead, I believe in walking alongside them with compassion, curiosity, and respect as they discover their own strengths, navigate challenges, and build confidence in themselves.
Whether you're seeking therapy, professional mentorship, or guidance for your organization, my hope is that you'll feel supported every step of the way.
